Antionetta Bucio

Founder, Casa Latina Cultural Institute

Antonieta Bucio is from Mexico City. She has studied theater and drama at the National University of Mexico (UNAM). In 1993, She received a scholarship to study Henrik Ibsen, and she came to Norway. In 2000, Antonieta became an entrepreneur and opened Casa Latina Oslo Språk og Kultursenter with 3 microloans from Microfinance Norway. In 2018 She is Co-Founder of Hispanic Women in Europe and Business Women Oslo ASN in order to empower women, providing monthly inspiring and networking events. In 2019 She was invited to record a podcaster series on Empowerment and Entrepreneurship of Latin Women at Radio Malecon. She is a person who loves people and likes to participate in different areas for connect and empower herself .

Dinson Purcell

«You Gotta Love It Tattoo» , Oslo

Dinson Leslie Castillo Purcell has always loved to draw. He came from Chile to Norway as a child. After a course in entrepreneurship in 2005 with support and 2 loans from Microfinance Norway, he started his own tattoo store: You Got to Love It Tattoo in Oslo. He also helped other young people reach their full potential by offering work training and motivation.

Ali Said

Shoe and leather maker

Ali Said started to learn the craft of shoe and leather product making from the age of 13 in his home country Afghanistan. He then had to leave for India as a refugee because of the war, and later on he made Norway his new home. He has been running his own shoe and leather repair shop "Faryabi Skinnverksted" in Grünerløkka, Oslo, Norway for the last 20 years, and he continues to do so. He took two loans from Microfinance Norway in the process.
